I receive news on my email, a few days ago I scrolled down my inbox and there it was “Kim Hyun Joong has been cast as the lead on ‘It Started With a Kiss’.”

My first reaction?? “F. You!!!!”

Not because Hyun Joong, god knows I love that guy, but because I just wanted Kim HeeChul to be given that role for some reason. I think he deserves the opportunity.

The F.U. Reaction lasted about five seconds anyway. Then I went “Oh, alright. That’s cool. Be happy for him woman!!!!”

Hyun Joong made the smartest move by going to another company. I’m happy he’s getting this opportunity, as happy as if it had been HeeChul because both deserve opportunities like this. I have faith in Hyun Joong and that he will make the best out of this chance and prove all those who criticized him for his acting in BBF wrong. To be quite hones, I liked him in BBF. I thought his character was supposed to be the way he played it. Maybe he did need some acting lessons, but he didn’t do bad. And yes, I’m probably being biased because JiHoo was my favorite character on that drama.

My best wishes to Kim Hyun Joong on his new drama. I wanted to see him play a bad-ass spy on the IRIS spin off, but seeing him back in a character that will probably remind me of JiHoo is a good thing.

On related news, Jung Yong Hwa was also considered for the part but couldn’t compromise because of his packed schedule. Sad, that’s another one who I would have loved to see as the lead. If you remember well, Yong Hwa’s character in “You’re Beautiful” was compared with JiHoo, since they shared many similarities.

The female lead hasn’t been decided yet, but F(X) Sulli is being considered and I hope she gets the role. I love that girl!! . Park Shin Hye is also being considered.

All I could wish when watching the video was for time to turn back, and being in the place of that doctor. The situation would have been a lot different. It’s not only because the victim was HanGeng, but because the human rights of a person were being violated and a life was put in danger. Human rights should be protected. Life, any life, is very precious and should be valued over all. HanGeng’s life was put in danger and that is not excusable. I would love to see what that person would do if it was his/her kid, or one of his/her family members in HanGeng’s position. I am sure he or she would have acted different. Where is the love and empathy people??

HanGeng gege/oppa your future is bright. Your lawsuit is with SM and not SuJu; those of us with a little bit of understanding know that and support you. All you have to do to makes us fans happy is being healthy and happy yourself…nothing else matters. You know what they say, the sky is the limit and you have what it takes to get there. Maybe an overused quote, but still true. As for SME, you know that one F word?? It would be of great use here, then gain you are too much of a gentleman to use it.

I mean, if you look at the teaser, it’s full of symbols…

Falling from stairs, a helicopter leaving him behind—Representing him getting up time after time after every fall, not giving up even if he wasn’t given the best opportunities.

It’s all very symbolic, no??

In other news, HanGeng will hold a solo concert on the 17th of July and tickets for it were sold out on the first hour the first day they were available. Impressive, but it only goes to show how many fans he has supporting him and wishing to see him triumph. Geng invited the members from SuJu and I hope they will be able to make it, at least HeeChul. However, SME probably won’t allow it…or they will as another one of their dirty strategies to make HanGeng seem as the bad guy.

HanGeng’s lawsuit has not yet been resolved, and SME recently stated that HanGeng is still under contract with the company and all his activities need to be approved by them. Nevertheless, HanGeng has handed the case to his lawyer and has faith he will do him justice.

SME keeps delaying the outcome of the case, how ridiculous. HanGeng has been presented with great opportunities and he has done right by taking them. Just let him go already. Let HanGeng be happy SME, don’t hurt him more than you already have. He’s happy; he’s healthy…just face it, you had a bright star in your hands and you foolishly lost him and now it’s too late. He has a brighter future than he’s ever had with you SM, just accept your defeat and stupidity and let the boy go already.

If you guys remember Hyun Joong was allegedly seen talking to Bae Yong Joon about a Drama project. BOF is Yong Joon’s entertainment company. Well we know what they were talking so much about now…

SS501′s contract with DPS expired on June 7th, and all activities for “Love Ya” were stopped on the 20th of that same month. And I ask myself, what’s the use on releasing a new record if the contract is going to expire?? Oh I know, “let the people buy the record so we, DPS Media, can make good money out of it…”

There’s no reports as to what will become of SS501, or if they too signed with BOF. Lets hope for the best, and if we can’t have the best, lets just hope they all have very successful careers after this. After all BOF said they will help Hyun Joong develop his singing and acting and I know fans want to see him achieve his full potential. I’m happy for him. As for Heo Young Saeng, he can go back to SM and become part of SuJu…I’m just kidding about that one .

I wish the best to the guys. They were the first K-Pop group I came across. I was a little obsessed with them fo a while…then I found SuJu. Yeah, I don’t know either…

Lee Yeoung Hoon is so cute. He has one of the sweetest smiles I’ve ever seen. All throughout the movie I was reminded of my childhood best friend. He has this same “vague” look in his eyes. It’s hard to explain. His eyes give you the feeling that his mind is far away, that he’s waiting for someone or something. Even if he’s looking right at you, you get the feeling that he’s staring past you and into the distance. I know it sounds weird, but it’s like you can’t quite reach him. He has a sadness/longing in his eyes. I know the eyes are what remind me of my friend. They both share the same vague, confusing facial expression and it’s all because of the stare. My friend is not even Asian, but I swear they look so much alike. The gestures, the smile that, unlike the eyes, is warm, sincere and spontaneous. Yes, just like my friend’s; he was a child with a genuine smile that could make you the happiest person in the world, but the eyes told a different story. I think I miss my friend too much. Maybe I just miss my childhood too much.

Anyway, yes I watched it after reading the synopsis and seeing Han Hyo Joo was in it. Should you watch?? Yes, if you are in the mood for an “ehh, it was okay” romantic movie. I thought it was cute and it has a happy ending…or at least you can interpret it that way, because like other Korean movies the ending was a little confusing *sighs.* They really like the “WTF??!!” kind of endings, don’t they??

I decided to interpret it as a happy ending, and if you decide to watch the movie you’ll see what I mean.
